Failed Logon Delay

Security related. Oracle has detected repeated failed logon attempts and is forcing a wait before the logon can be attempted again.
Detailed Description​
After the third failed logon attempt, Oracle will incrementally delay subsequent logon or password prompts up to a maximum of 10 seconds. No delay will occur if the logon is successful.
How to reduce this wait​
With your audit trail enabled, you can switch on auditing for failed logons and examine the records created.
